Message I'm assuming you already have tweeters, so just get some double-sided sticky tape and place them around the car to get an idea of how they sound in different spots. Then try to figure out how to mount them.

In your case, I would see if you can get a thin metal bracket (PCI card blanks from a computer come to mind) and attach it to the back of the tweeters somehow. Once the door panel is off, you can bend the metal to make it a tight fit. If you can't figure out what I mean, then I would go buy new tweeters that come with everything to mount them. Or hit up a local stereo shop (possibly Circuit City and the like, but I doubt it)


Also, how did you get your tweeter to fit in the corner thing behind the side mirrors?

I didn't. I drilled a hole above the door vent and mounted the speakers the recommended way (with the included brackets/trim rings).

I don't have pics of my Z speakers like that, but I did the same on the miatAr. Naturally it's 100% different angles between the two
